Point Pinos Lighthouse
Point Pinos Lighthouse (Pacific Grove, CA) is the oldest continuously operating lighthouse on the West Coast, lit Feb 1, 1855. (It was under constructions at the time of this photo and unfortunately we were not able to tour it.) Image taken: June 2014
Shark's Tooth
This certainly resembles a shark's tooth! This was a beach near Davenport CA along Highway 1 with some amazing wave action.
Pigeon Point Lighthouse
This historic lighthouse (lit 1872) was home to a huge fresnel lens with 1008 glass elements that could radiate a visible beam 20-24 miles out to sea. It is one of the tallest lighthouses on the west coast at 115 feet. Image taken: June 2014
